Terms & Conditions – DJM Solar System Giveaway

The DJM Solar System Giveaway (the "Promotion") is run by DJM Electrical & Solar Pty Ltd, based in Newcastle, NSW. By entering this Promotion, all participants agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions, forming a legally binding agreement with DJM Electrical & Solar.

1. Promotion Period

The Promotion commences on 03 September 2025 at 8:00am AEST and ends on 23nd September 2025 at 11:59pm AEST. Entries received outside this period will not be eligible for inclusion in the prize draw.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 or over who are homeowners and reside within DJM Electrical & Solar’s designated service area. Entries from individuals outside of this service area will not be eligible to claim the grand prize. DJM reserves the right to conduct a redraw should the original winner fall outside of the service area.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of DJM Electrical & Solar are ineligible to enter. "Immediate family" includes spouses, partners, parents, children, siblings, and their partners, regardless of place of residence.

3. How to Enter

To participate, entrants must visit https://get.djmelectricalnsw.com.au/giveaway during the promotional period and submit their full name, email address, and postcode via the entry form. Each person is allowed one (1) entry. Bonus entries may be earned by referring others via the official giveaway platform, as per instructions.

4. Prize Details

The grand prize is one (1) 6.6kW residential solar system valued at up to $6,000 AUD, inclusive of standard installation by DJM Electrical & Solar. The prize is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be exchanged for other products or services.
Additionally, non-winning entrants may be eligible for a runner-up offer, which could include a $500 solar system voucher, a complimentary roof design consultation, or an extended warranty. Runner-up offers must be claimed within 14 days of the winner announcement.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries within five (5) business days after the Promotion closes. The winner will be contacted via the email address and/or phone number provided.
If the winner does not respond within seven (7) days, or if they are found to be ineligible (including residence outside the DJM service area), DJM Electrical & Solar reserves the right to conduct a redraw and award the prize to another eligible entrant.

6. Prize Redemption & Conditions

To redeem the grand prize, the winner must reside within DJM Electrical & Solar’s service area and consent to system installation within six (6) months of notification. The installation covers standard procedures only; any additional work such as switchboard upgrades or other electrical modifications will incur separate charges, quoted prior to installation.
The solar system provided must be for residential use and will include products and components selected by DJM at their discretion.

7. Marketing & Privacy

By entering, participants consent to DJM Electrical & Solar using their name and entry information for promotional and marketing purposes, without further compensation. Personal information collected will be managed in accordance with DJM’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.djmelectricalnsw.com.au/privacy-policy/.

8. General Conditions

DJM Electrical & Solar reserves the right to verify all entries and disqualify any entrant suspected of tampering with the entry process or submitting false/incomplete information.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion without notice, subject to regulatory requirements. All decisions made by the Promoter are final and binding.
